2023 Tax Tips Newsletter
Dear Clients & Friends,
We hope your enjoying these last warm days of summer and the cool nights fall brings. If you get a moment between working, last minute vacations and kid’s activities, please read the enclosed Tax Tips newsletter.
In this edition of our newsletter, you’ll find tips on putting your tax refund to good use, such as paying off debt, saving for retirement or investing in yourself. You’ll also see tips on saving receipts and documentation for qualified deductions. It’s important to have access to these records in case of an IRS audit. If you’re not sure if a certain document is needed, it’s best to bring it in so we can take a look at it.
We are working diligently to complete the tax returns we have on extension. During preparation and review, we always project forward a couple years to see how tax law changes will affect your situation in the future. If you have not dropped off your 2022 information, please do so as soon as possible. Also, note the important tax-related dates to remember. If you are paying estimated taxes toward your individual or corporate tax liability for 2023, keep in mind that your 3rd quarter installment will be due September 15th and 4th quarter will be due in January.
As many of you know, Penny retired back in April and we are still on the search for her replacement. Like many other small businesses in southern Delaware, we are having a hard time finding a qualified candidate. As we continue with our search, we asked you to please continue to be patient as our entire team is working tirelessly to get your returns completed. If you or anyone you may know has accounting experience and is interested in applying, please have them submit their resume to info@rgscpa.com.
Please call our office if you have any questions regarding the information presented in this newsletter or to set up an appointment with one of our accountants to start planning for 2023.
Thank you for continued patronage. As always, we welcome any feedback you may have on the services we offer and we also welcome your referrals.
