Operating a business presents many challenges. In today's environment of challenging financial regulations and increasing demand for strong internal controls and sound fiscal management, businesses rely on accurate and insightful financial information in order to maintain profitability and capitalize on new opportunities. By taking time to listen to your concerns, we develop a big–picture understanding of your organization including your short–term and long–term financial needs and operational goals.
At Starkey & Company, PA, we focus on building close client relationships that add long–term value. If your business has assurance needs that do not require an audit, we can provide reviews and compilations. This includes evaluating financial procedures and working to produce strategies that help our clients face challenges of business planning and execution. Our clients benefit from objective analysis to assist in controlling costs and increasing efficiency.
Our financial statement services provide the following levels of services depending on your company's needs.
- Reviews provide limited assurance to outside interests and involve inquiries and analytical procedures that confirm financial statement matters and identify any items requiring further analysis. We perform reviews to ensure the integrity of your data.
- Compilations are usually requested by outside interests and are based on information provided by a company's management. They do not offer any assurance but may involve some adjustment to accounting records.
- Preparations are usually requested by management for decision making purposes and do not include an accountant's report and does not provide any assurances to the user. A common example of preparation financial statements is the balance sheet and profit and loss statements printed from QuickBooks Accounting Software.
